Pros sounds great, comes with a car kit, cheap, battery life
Cons skips more then expected without anti-skip, volume control, headphones
Recommended it? Yes
Now that I bought an md player, my cd-burner and this discman pretty much become obsolete. My dad will yell at me for buying this on boxing day..but oh well.

This discman is great. First of all, it's CHEAP. I got mine for 120$ canadian (granted, it was boxing day) and it comes with a car kit, which easily saves you 50$.

The sound quality of this discman is great, the music is solid, crisp and clear. The LCD display lights up and the battery life is rather long (22 hours or so). It's not the smallest of discmans but is small enough to fit into most jacket pockets.

As with most discmans, there is the standard features (shuffle, rms, repeat, etc) easily accessible with a press of a button. The volume is rotary by the side along with the anti-skip and bass button as i remember.
This the only downside of the design of the discman (which looks rather nice). The volume could easily be adjusted with a simple brush of the hand and the anti-skip/x-bass buttons are too close together. SOmetimes when im walking i want to turn on anti-skip but instead, turn off X-bass and so forth. When anti-skip is off, skips tend to occur but I guess thats why anti-skipping is there.

The other drawback to this discman is that the headphones suck, much like my md player's headphone and my walkmans' headphone. I expect that, I mean, if they gave us these ultra nice headphones, who's gonna plop down 20-40$ on their separate selection of headphones?

Anyways, in my opinion, this discman has it all, at a low price and I recommend it over some of the higher models, based on the simple fact that at this price with a car kit, the 100$ you save from NOT buying better models can be put forth elsewhere...like 5 cds for this discman to use.
