The Bottom Line:
Go buy this today. You will not be sorry. I love it and I will not trade it for any other CD player.
I received a Panasonic SL-SV500 Personal CD Player as a gift one year. It has a very good anti-skipping mechanism and is very durable. I go on long trips out of state sometimes and we usually come across a road full of bumps and my CD's have not skipped once. I have had this for about four years and it is still in perfect condition. The volume goes up pretty high but it could still be louder. I really like this CD player. It also has a memory recall system for radio stations. I don't know exactly how many stations it can store but it can store quite a few. This CD player is small enough to be put in a purse or a backpack to take to school or just for an hour or more long drive. There is one set back with this CD player. After a few use of use the top part pops open to expose the CD while its still playing when you go over some big bumps but the CD's have never been damaged. Other then that this is my CD player of choice and I would not trade it for another one. It is definitely a good investment.
