Nice Sounding Player That Stands Up To Use And Abuse
About a year ago I purchased an SL-SW850 portable CD player for my wife. In that time it has performed flawlessly and she isn?t the type to handle electronics with kid gloves... If it cannot survive being tossed around in her car then it doesn?t deserve to live!

Panasonic delivers a top-shelf product
My first major portable cd player was a Sony. One figures they can't go wrong with a Sony. There were 2 other people in my department at work that had them. Alas it didn't perform up to my expectations.

You can't go wrong...
First off, I consider myself as very VERY rough with all the electronics I buy. So far I've dropped my ShockWave on concrete numerous times and it has survived (mostly while I was running). I really can't see many other CD players surviving the thrashing that my ShockWave has been through.
