The Bottom Line:
The epitome of what a CD player should be.
I purchased this CD player off of Ebay, brand new of course and eagerly awaited its arrival. When I got it inside after a few days, the quality of the CD player was amazing. This CD player FELT like it was worth the money I had spent on it and looked downright sweet. I tore open the package and read the manual a bit. The headphones looks a bit "odd" to say the least and I was hesitant to put them on. After I figured out how to use them, I plugged them in and put them on. The headphones fit on firmly and snug. I opened the CD player via its cool metal brackets and snapped the disc in. I turned on a VMSS option which is supposed to make the headphones use extreme bass. After I turned it on, the audio was absolutely fantastic! I was listening to the band Shadows Fall and upon hearing the bass, I was in pure ecstasy. The WHOLE of the headphones were vibrating with bass and it was crystal clear. I took the CD player around with me for some time, enjoying every moment of it. Typical of me, I went outside and promptly tripped on my driveway and the CD player went flying. It hit the ground and I freaked out. But thanks to the great chassis of the CD player, it only had a tiny scuff on it and it worked perfectly. This is a durable, great sounding CD player and is worth every penny.
My only con with the CD player is that the headphones begin to hurt after about an hour of listening and they eat batteries like they were candy. This is because of the VMSS feature which vibrates the headphones. If you turn it off you get good battery life, which I enjoy. Aside from this fact, the CD player is the best I've ever used.
