Panasonic SHOCKWAVE SL-SW870 Personal CD Player

What can you say about this metal body? Mmmmmmm? Well I this was the first anti-skip player I was exposed to, so I wanted to see how well it really worked. I don't personally own this player, it is my bothers, and so, I need his permission to put it to the test. It says that it has a 40 sec anti-skip system so I took the player and hit it on and with everything. I repeatedly beat it against my dashboard, dropped it on the floor, on the concrete. I hit with textbooks and my fists and to my amazement it didn't miss a beat. So it really delivers on its promises. The body doesn't crack; it just gets little dents in it like an old hammer or tool.

The sound is excellent and the headphones are great. However, they may hurt your ears after awhile because they hurt mine. The sound still delivers when you hook it up to a car stereo. The x bass system works and it doesn't sound like other cheap players when the bass is on.

The only thing I can say negative about this player is that the battery life decreases when u use the anti- shock and the VMSS. Otherwise you get your money's worth!
