The Bottom Line:
Check out the Sony alternative. It's $5 more, but probably will be worth it.
They designed it so the same button turns the unit on and puts it in play mode. Press it again and it pauses the playing; A third time to disengage the pause.
That would be OK if the button worked every time, but it doesn't. Sometimes you have to hold the On/Play button several seconds to turn the unit on. Sometimes this method works; sometimes you're stuck out on your run with a CD player that won't turn on.
Other thoughts to take fulfill the Epinions 100 word requirement:
Sweat-proof, shiny, pretty, cheap looking but it has held up more than a year, odd resume function. No dedicated On button, but a dedicated button to turn anti-shock on and off.
