The Bottom Line:
If you are even thinking about it, stop thinking and go for it. This is by far one of the best portable CD players.
Update:I have dropped this thing on hard cement numerous times in the last week. And It Still Works perfectly despite the many, many, gashes.
I received this CD player as a gift last Christmas, and was incredibly happy with the product i received. This CD player holds up under almost every circumstance. For example I usually carry it around in a pocket or in hand, so it receives maximum amounts of movement. Never once have i had it skip without some sort of forced interference. (I wanted to test its durability:-) )This CD player is almost as small as they come, so it fits anywhere. It also has functions like a bass boost, random play, resume play, programmed song play, a hold function so you can listen uninterrupted, and most of all the 40 second anti-shock protection. I think the best part about this CD player was definitely the price. Although it came with fairly poor quality headphones, I don't think that I have ever had a CD player with included headphones that were any good. The only real problem I have ever faced is that it doesn't play CD-R's with dark blue ink very well. It will take up to two minutes to load a song. But that is only a minor setback. It also came with a 4.5 volt AC Adapter so you can even listen without batteries. If you even have a shadow of a doubt about buying this CD player, remove the doubt and go for it, it's well worth the measely fifty dollars.
