Great Sound + Value

bygevorg Apr 13, 2001
Pros Great Sound, Cheap, Sexy, 40 Second Antishock
Cons Gets confused and stops playing, but literally apologizes by displaying "SORRY"
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Buy it for looks, buy it for sound, buy it just to buy it!
I have owned this CD player for more than a year now. It was an extremely good value, because i won it at iwin.com! It came in the mail to me, completely free of charge! But, $70 for this baby is well worth it.

It has very good sound quality from the base unit, but the headphones are of lesser quality... I use other headphones for it and am very satisfied.

It's looks are also eye-catchy. I always get comments like "Nice CD player", or "Can i take it home with me tonight?" That last comment usually freaks me out, but it is a very nice CD player.

The sound quality is good, but what happens when you want to go jogging? Not to worry, the 40-second antishock will prevent skipping. I have also discovered a neat trick with the antishock. If you stick a piece of paper the size of a spit ball in the hole on the upper left corner of the CD player, it can play CDs with the top still open! It'll tempt you to "scratch it up" like DJs, but I have tried, and it doesn't work...

Overall, it is a very good buy and if you replace the headphones with better ones, you will enjoy it forever. But remember if you do the trick i told you about above, you might get the CD player to apologize :)
