I go along with the majority here - overall a great unit
Pros
excellent sound, VERY light, great battery life
Cons
wretched volume and track selection buttons, a horrible idea...
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
a great unit for someone who wants to spend less than 40 bucks. Great sound, light and super anti skip feature makes this model a winner.
I bought my unit on E Bay for about 29 bucks which was a great deal. The first day I had it I was very disappointed because I thought it was a lemon. But I later found out it was actually the CD I was using which must have been flawed. Since that time I've had nothing but praise for the unit.
I use it for running over mountain trails and it ticks along admirably and seldom if ever skips. I had a bunch of headsets already and the ones it came with it are still on the package. I just thought they looked cheap so I will keep them as a back up.
I use some Sony ear buds and with these headsets the unit sounds super. As everyone else's mentioned the size is totally a plus. It's very light and although it seems delicate - so far so good. One reviewer said he dropped his but obviously I don't recommend this and baby the thing because it looks flimsy.
I get the idea that if you treat this unit well it will work like a charm.
This is going to be redundant but for the money he really cannot beat this product. It seems to work with CDRs and that's a must for today; everyone burns their own CDs cuz store bought CDs are such a major rip off.
I bought it primarily because it was cheap. The AIWA I previously had was an incredibly unit and this one I really bought to serve as a backup in case the AIWA ever goes kablooey.
Well I couldn't have done better than this.
if they ever make another series then by all means they should re-arrange the buttons because really they are a pain in the butt.
