Its a good one, but not perfect

Pros Cool looking, good sound, great price, no skipping, lots of features.
Cons On playing MP3 some unwarranted noise between tracks, not so long battary life.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I've happy I bought it, but maybe I should have made a better search before.
I bought this thing at Circuit city two weeks ago. It looks
nice, and has a very nice sound. I bought also Koss earphones, not relying on supplied cheep earphones (and indeed, this was a justified purchase). I find the sound great. It also plays MP3 files of all sorts, which I was
burning on my computer. I have been a long time fan of Panasonic CD players.
I have a very good hearing, and in the past I have bought
Philips CD players, which I returned to store since you could hear a slight hum between changing of tracks. I also disliked Sony players, where it a lot of time skiped even when sitting on my desk. With Panasonic, I always found it a stable product, with great sound.
The only problem I have is that in MP3 it takes some time when switching between tracks, and you so hear some noises humming. My solusion for this is to burn MP3 CDs complete, without wait between tracks. Unfortunately, this means you cannot fast forward between tracks.
The battery consumption of this unit does not look to my as
promised, but I have to say I have never scientifically measured it.
