Great Mp3-Cd Player for Less $$$ but there is better
The Panasonic SL-SX420 is an 'ok' Mp3 Cd-Player. It was actually my first Cd-Player which I used for at least 6 months so far and I am still using it, for cds anyway. I recommend switching to a low-cost Mp3 Player as an alterative.

For ~$50 you can't find a cheaper mp3 cd...

Not bad for the price!
I've had this player now for about a month, and I can't really complain. I bought it to replace my RioVolt SP-250 model. SL-SX420, a great buy

Either I've had some MAJOR bad luck, or this is total crap.

Extraordinary!
This is the best portable CD player I have owned, bar none. I usually have some pretty bad luck with portables. Over the last four years I owned four different models (from Sony, TDK and Panasonic), and they all either broke or became obsolete quick. I have to say the SL-SX420 blows them all away...
