Panasonic SL-SX510 Personal CD Player

For years I've liked sony (probably cause I had stock in it). Unfortunately, every time I bought a sony discman, it stopped working on me. This was very unfortunate for me because I wasted a lot of money, and spent a lot of time worrying about whether my discman was going to work or not. Then I noticed that several good friends of mine had bought Panasonic portable cd players. So I decided to give it a try (seeing as how my latest Sony discman - with G-shock protection) was no longer working after only a year). I bought the Panasonic, and I've been in heaven ever since. It hasn't given me any problems, and with 40 seconds of shock protection, I personally think it beats Sony's G-shock. Visually, I also think that the Panasonics are better designed. They look very sleek, and the aluminum top gives it an final touch. Finally, the fact that the thing hasn't broken down on me yet and is still as good as new makes me very satisfied. This is the best discman I have ever owned, or even seen in my entire life. My final word on the matter is that if you're looking for a quality discman that will last you more than 6 months, go with this.
