Had the panasonic th-42px75u. bought in april 2007. picture was great but the unit generated a LOT of heat. it was nice in the winder but summer had to run the ac and a fan in the room whenever we watched tv.
just recently the plasma died with the common 7 blinking power supply lights. doing more research now it seems that this is a common trend with the panasonic plasmas. any futures buyers beware that you maybe spending a grand on something that'll just last beyond the warranty period even with credit card extension.
very dissapointed in panasonic quality after looking around at all these power failure reports.
