The Bottom Line:
The perfect camera. Drop it and it doesn't break. Excellent pictures. Lots of features. My favorite camera ever.
When my old camera suddenly started taking slightly blurry pictures, I dreaded the search for a new one. I had had that camera for 8 years and it had taken many great pictures that I had blown up and displayed in my home. But now everything was blurry, so I had no choice. I started looking for a camera with a good zoom range that was point and shoot. I found this, and I am so happy.
This camera takes very sharp pictures. And it is quite sturdy. I have dropped it twice on hard surfaces and it still works wonderfully. The zoom is great, and it would be difficult to find a larger zoom range on a point and click. The camera is also a convenient size and fits well in your hand and is well balanced. The flash recharges quickly. It has plenty of features to keep most people happy.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it has so many flash options it takes a while to go through them all. If you are trying to capture a moment, you may not get to the right setting in time (or you may pass it over in your rush). Also one of the setting is no flash with a B, and another is flash with a B and I can never remember what the B stands for. Luckily, all the other indicators in the LCD display are very obvious and easily understood.
