Any way you look at it, this is a fantastic camera. My family owns three. This camera is very easy to use. Most of the time it's just point-and-shoot. But this camera is also packed with features that are also easy to use.
The photo quality is fantastic - the pictures are always sharp and I've never had any problem with washed-out photos or any other annoying quirks found in other cameras.
Also, the zoom feature is excellent. I've found that a 90mm zoom is more than enough is most cases (we also have a 155mm zoom Pentax, but rarely zoom in fully. Also, the 28mm zoom is crucial if you plan on taking pictures of groups of people. This allows you to be closer to the group and still fit everyone in than with a 35mm camera. This is especially useful in tight spaces when you can't back up any more.
The Camera is enclosed in a durable and appealing case. Also, the remote control is an excellent feature which allows you to take pictures of your whole group without the aid of another person.
Overall, this camera is a marvelously engineered machine and well worth every penny.
