This is basically a very inexpensive means of taking decent photos! I think it's the best value in the Pentax line of point and shoot cameras. It's focus free, compact, nice looking, with a large bright, easy to see through viewfinder. It has auto film load and advance, with a motorized film rewind, and a built in auto flash that automatically discharges under low light conditions. It also has an automatic red eye reduction lamp that lights up. This takes two double A batteries-not the expensive lithium that some of the other point and shoot cameras take, which is convenient(and easy to find anywhere), and it has auto power off, that automatically cuts off the power supply when the camera is left unoperated for seven minutes, so you don't drain the batteries. It is focus free, and the lens is a 26mm, so a disadvantage is that you can't take decent pictures from a distance. For close ups and groups however, this is a fine camera.
