Do not buy ANY of these Mag. combo units!!!!
We bought this unit for our daughter and mounted it on a wall mount so we were always the ones to put in the tapes/dvds. Less than a year old and the unit is totally useless. Cheaply made combo, poor customer service
I bought this tv combo under the Magnavox brand for $300 two years ago at Target. Unfortunately, I did not inquire about warranty info. Four months after purchase, the VCR started to act up, automatically shutting off and not ejecting tapes. Customer service told me their warranty was for 3 months... Read full review »
Got 6 months out of it ... only
Bought this unit at Home Depot for $279 in July 2004. Worked well for DVD and TV cable use (never used VHS), until this week (Feb 2005). All of a sudden, it won't power on. Now I discover that I have only 3 months labor, but 12 months parts warranty. Needless to say, I have never had a new purchase... Read full review »
Nice unit if VCR hadn't failed
I bought unit in March 2004. In December 2004, the VCR began mangling videotapes. I would hear a noise, then the tape would be ejected and the entire unit would turn off. When I went to take the tape out, it was difficult to remove because some of the tape was still inside caught on something.

Not such a great idea after all...
I was shopping for a dvd player, and my uncle recommended that he get me this model tv instead, so I naturally accepted. I sold my perfectly functioning GE set that was about 7 years old, and hadn't given me a single problem. This thing only made it slightly more than a year before the dvd player... Read full review »
