Very good for anyone looking for a small CD player
Pros
Small, doesn't skip, good battery life
Cons
The headphones that come with it aren't too good.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It's a very good player if you want something that's a good quality but won't empty out your wallet.
This is a great CD player. It's small, the battery compartment is inside (The only disadvantage to that is changing batteries in a car or airplane where you don't have room to put the CD when you change batteries.) It doesn't waste any space by having the buttons on the bottom of the player, but instead, they're right on the lid. Even with ESP off, it won't skip unless you take it and shake it really hard. The sound quality is good, and the battery life is great. With other personal CD players I've had, the batteries didn't last longer than 10 hours of play, but I easily got 20 out of regular alkaline batteries with this CD player. The only disadvantage are the headphones that came with it, the sound isn't loud and the phones are larger than neccesary. And the foam padding things that go on your ears don't stay on well. It's better to spend the 20 bucks and get a seperate pair of Sony street-style behind the head phones.
The car kit is good, too. I haven't used it much, but it produces decent sound quality (obviously the digital CD to analog cassette will cause a drop in sound quality)
