Philips Business 107B: Big Screen in a Little Space

The Bottom Line:
A terrific monitor with great resolution.
When a local businessman offered to donate four new monitors to the Pedagogy center in Tel Aviv, everyone was delighted. Then the boxes came. They were 17" monitors. The desks in this computer lab are just not wide enough for that size monitor. No problem though. These monitors fit. They were incredibly small in depth considering the width. But that's not the real criteria for a monitor.
The picture on the monitor is crystal clear. This monitor is as good as the one at my friend Gil's office and he does graphic design. Someone said something about 22 pitch and pixels, which meant nothing to me... I just know that the quality here is outstanding.
The center has had these monitors for about 6 months now and they get very heavy use. They are as good as they ever were. Though this monitor is more expensive than what has been purchased here in the past, everyone on the appropriations committee has agreed that the small additional price makes this monitor worth the extra money. Several of the board members have bought computer systems recently, too, and most invested in this monitor.
I can't say enough good about it. When the time comes for me to re-invest in a monitor, Philips monitors, and this one in particular, will be on my short list of possibilities.
