This Philips is a TV/VCR combo. The TV is 19 inches and the VCR is four-head and both have a High Quality system built in. The picture and sound are very precise and clear. I was always impressed with the Philips name since I had a very pleasant encounter with their customer service years ago. I have been buying their products since.

One of the best features that I love is the remote control locater. As soon as you turn on the TV, the remote control beeps (very loudly) so you know exactly where it is. My remote is almost always under the couch. :o) But of course there was that one time it was in my husbands sneaker (thanks to my 20 month old, I assume) and I NEVER would have looked there for it.
It has many other features but I felt these were the most important for this model. The picture and sound is high quality and the VCR is very easy to work. My four year old can put his own tapes on, fast forward, rewind, eject, etc.
It also has a SmartSound feature that regulates the sound through all the viewing. This is a great feature for me because when we are watching TV, as soon as a commercial comes on, the sound on the TV gets really loud. The SmartSound feature prevents this from happening and automatically adjusts the sound to remain at the same level at all times.
This TV is also very easy to set up and operate. All of the features are automatic so they set up with just a few touches of the buttons and the manual is very easy to read and understand.
I would highly recommend this TV to anyone who is looking for a high quality TV/VCR combo that is backed by a great name in the industry with excellent customer service.
