Hello potential Philips buyers,
Beware!
My frustration with Philips started with the purchase. It took more than a month to ship the product. The CD player broke down in a couple of months. I sent it to Philips for the warranty replacement during June 2000. As on today (Oct 23, 2000) I am yet to receive the unit. Customer service by Philips is very very very.... frustrating. Every time I speak they will say that the original service rep who took my call is not available. How funny it is! Don't they have a system in place? So I would suggest any one to buy this product (in fact any product from Philips) if you are ready to throw unit if it brakes down.
