Good solid cd changer for the price.
Pros
Inexpensive 5 cd changer with good sound.
Cons
Lens is not horribly powerful and picks up scratches easily. Remote control.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Recommended for a low price. If you're a big energy consumer you might not want to buy it..or if you're lazy.
I bought this cd player from an ebay store for $30. It was a great investment and lead me to start the stack system I now use in my living room. At first all I wanted was a cheap cd changer to play CDs and now that I've upgraded the rest of my system, I've decided to keep this CD player. I've had a few minor problems which you could encounter with any 5 disc changer (getting CDs stuck in it), but was able to take it apart and fix it myself. Even if you aren't a technological wizzard, you would be able to operate this cd changer without a problem. If any problems ever did arise, the manual would be able to explain anything. The only downsides were that scratches are easily sensed and it does a hiccup method rather than a jumping method. What I mean by that is that it tries to read through the scratch so it plays the same note over and over (something I really hate) rather than just jumping to the next available "safe spot". If you keep your cds in good shape you won't have a problem. The only other thing is that you can't turn off the CD player using the remote, so mine basically stays on ALL the time. I really don't like that because it's not very user friendly. It does have all the regular functions (repeat, repeat all, stop, play, etc.) but could probably have more programming features.
