R15 - Major Design Flaws Remain in 2007
The R15 came after the DirecTV with TiVo (R10). The R10 made DirecTV a clear winner; the R15 has me thinking that cable or Dish Network might be a better choice.

JUNK, WORTHLESS, WHAT A JOKE, worthless, AVOID
I can't believe they allow these things out of the box, and expect customers to like them. Perhaps if it was your first DVR, you'd think it was cool. Total crap compared to Tivo
The picture quality is just TERRIBLE! The digital compression looks awful. Looks just like bad web video set at 256 colors. may be technical, but my wife, who is definitely not, says the picture 'sucks' compared to our old tivo and won't even watch tv anymore.
