I would buy this unit for the combination of excellent sound, price and ease of use.
This unit outperforms systems costing hundreds of dollars more. The controls are easy to use, and the unit has a very cool appearance featuring a large db meter. The FW-C550 has several sound settings such as surround, dynamic bass, digital sound control, and virtual ambience control. However, the unit features a MAX SOUND control that combines the best of all of the above features. I set the sound in that position and leave it. It sounds good!!! Featuring 240 watts of total power, the FW-C550 has more than enough punch to fill almost any room with clean,powerful sound!
I would recommend you give this model a try if you are in the market for a good sounding, affordable system. We actually did not pay a dime for this system because it replaced another manufacturer' s model that failed under warranty. You could get it much cheaper elsewhere if you looked.
