Lots of Bang for the Buck...
I had tried several others in my home, the Sony Bravia 255 and 265, a Panasonic with wireless rears, Samsung, etc. This unit had the two features I wanted, HDMI Upconverting and an Ipod dock, at a price point that scared me at first.

- sound is quite clean for something that costs so little
- plays DVDs well
- can't switch to USB without waiting for it to attempt to load a disk

failed at 18mo.
This unit has been trouble from day 1. Very slow to open the tray and recognize discs. Unit would frequently freeze. Had to unplug it to reset. It finally died at 18mo. Philips customer support offered no assistance.

Great System, Great Price!
I picked this product up at S***s, it was the best deal on the net. For $200, I must say this is unbeatable. It was a very easy setup. There are screw holes right in the speakers to mount on the wall.

fixed wired speakers too short (32 Feet)
I actually ended up buying this system in spite of the fact that people said the wires for the rear speaker were too short.
