The Bottom Line:
Great TV for a starter, or if your cheap like me. I would recommend it.
Purchased this about 9 months ago and so far I'm still happy with it. It is very easy to use and set up. The picture seems a wee bit dull compared to other brands I've looked at but it don't create a problem. The DVD plays nice, but the tray seems a little flimzy. It doe's NOT play "PAL" format DVD's but plays NTFS and store bought very well.
Great feature is the front jacks for gaming. My kids love that.
I've had bad luck on other magnavox products, but this t.v. combo is the exception.
The only Down falls I notice has been the NON-Playing "PAL" format and the remote control battery compartment need to be tighter. I have to hit it to make the batteries connect. Other than that, FOR THE MONEY, its a darn good tv, combo. I have never tried the VHS on mine, so cant comment on that. The looks are good, the funtions are good and best of all, The price was good.
