Philips FW-P900
Pros
Great SQ. when it comes to main speakers. Hard hitting bass in small rooms.
Cons
Surround speakers lack sound depth. and any real punch.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
While the surround speakers need a little more work the rest of the system sounds great. Buy for a beginner system.
Overall (if you do not include the surround sound feature), this system delivers quality sound. Great beginner system.
Reproduces bass with no problems. I actually had someone complain that the bass was making there things shake in a room 2 floors below me. I thought she was nutz, but you never know.
On the surround speakers. They need some work. While they are rated at 25 watts RMS. they sound dull and lacking. But I guess you can't expect much from a mini hifi system. If you want surround get a surround sound system.
The systems controls are fairly easy to use once you give the manual a quick browse. No complaints in that department.
