Philips Savvy Cell Phone

I got a Savvy DB for Christmas, completely out of the blue in fact, connected to Virgin Mobile. The phone itself is the dictionary definition of smartness. It fits into your pocket easily enough, the few ringtones available are all good, and there's an excellent vibrate function to boot. The screen is easy to read, and lights up when it's dark, and the sound quality is very impressive for a mobile. It's also very durable and can take the odd knock, just as long as you don't smash it about...

In short, if you're looking for a cheap phone that's easy to use and good-looking, you can't get much better.

(By the way, $39.99 is an estimate. I bought it in England for #30, but I haven't worked out the exact value in US$)
