Not a shabby mp3 player.

Pros Good all around mp3 player. Good playback with CD-R & CD-RW.
Cons A little sketchy on store bought CDs. Suck up the batteries quickly.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Recommended if you can get it for cheap. I would upgrade to a bit of a pricier one if I had the cash.
I got this mp3 player a few years back for christmas and thought it was the greatest thing..who wouldn't? You get all the music you can possibly want out of 10 CDs. The player itself (if you buy it in a store) comes with a lot of features (headphones, ac adapter, etc.) The anti-skip protection was both good for mp3 playback and audio playback. The only real problem I had was the fact that it sucked up batteries really quickly and that changing directories with mp3 cds took longer than it should. Also, the sound quality could have been a bit better (louder). Another cute feature was that self charger that was built in when you plugged in the AC adapter. I never really used that option because I used rechargeable CDs myself and used my own charger but could prove to be very useful for someone who didn't. I would recommend the mp3 cd player over just a plain mp3 player because it has both styles of playback and you can have a lot more music if you burn enough CDs.
