Absolutely Amazing
Pros
Functions, All in one, Add Ons, Never Get lost again!
Cons
Expensive, difficult for a self install
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you can afford it, but it.
I was VERY skeptical about all the promised made on the outside of the box, and even more so when I saw a unit roughly the same size as my old cd player, and a hide away box slightly smaller than a video tape.
If you are reading this review, chances are you are aware of the capabilities of this unit. I will spare all the details, but I would like to highlight a few:
The navigation is the best I have personally experienced. I am sure there are dedicated devices on the market that may edge it out, however from a practicality standpoint it is outstanding.
The level of intuitiveness is great as well. While it is advisable to read the manual, many functions are easily figured out.
The number of add-ons is staggering. You can get XM with Traffic Nav (requires a software update for the N1), add a DVD changer, Cd changer, and control your Ipod. It also installed a camera in the keyhole of my trunk and the screen
turns to "reverse" mode (i.e. I can see where I am backing up) automatically.
I could go on and on, but this bottom line is this, for the money there is no better system on the market.
