Have had two CDX-FM1289 cd players. Both just quit in a little over a year. Both times it ruined the CD Magazines and had to be taken apart to retrieve my CDs.Pioneer knew what they were doing when they set the warranty at one year. Would not buy any more Pioneer products. Have since seen many bad comments on these units. Pioneer has to know what a piece of junk this CDX-FM1289 is.
