I thought I would buy myself a nice birthday present for a change, and so I decided to put a CD player in my car, after all the stereo in my car was starting to fail. So I went shopping, the pioneer DEH-P2000 was one of the last products I saw, but it caught my eye. Not to mention the price, and the fact that the store where I bought it said they would install that one for free. So I went shopping around and got recommendations for this stereo from other people in other stores, and found that everyone I talked to thought it was a pretty good stereo. I needed nothing fancy, as my car isn't that great, and I wanted something that I could either take out when I got rid of my car, or yet sell with the car if I wanted. The other thing that attracted me to this stereo was the fact that it can be added to, I could get a CD changer later and not have to buy a new stereo to go with it, which was great news to me.
I've had the stereo now for about 5 months, and I just love it. The music is clear, and I have so many choices as to what I want the quality of sound to be. And although my factory-issued speakers aren't that great, the stereo really helps the sound out. And the CD player is great, doesn't skip or scratch, or anything, just like you are sitting at home listening to the tunes. I also like the number of pre-programmed channels, makes it easier to make sure that I have easy access to my favorite stations.
I think my only real draw back to the stereo is that the buttons are a little small, my dad who has big fingers was accidently pressing two or even three buttons at a time and not being able to change channels and what not, so people with larger fingers would probably have a bit of trouble with the buttons. Otherwise, I think this is a great stereo!
