Good value, good sound

Excellent value. I'm very satisfied with the quality of Pioneer's product.
I purchased this in-dash CD player from my local Crutchfield, and had them install it along with steering wheel remote adapter for my '98 Grand Cherokee. I'm very happy with the purchase, as the Pioneer gives very good performance through my Infinity speakers. The display is clear, the sound is great, and the CD Text feature is really cool. I burn a lot of CDs and it's nice to be able to see the title of the CD and the title and artist of the individual tracks.
The aren't too many negatives to the Pioneer experience. The EQ presets on this particular model aren't very good, but no worries...you can set your own EQ (which I highly recommend). I wasn't too thrilled at first about the silver color matching in with the charcoal and woodgrain interior of my Jeep, but it's subtle enough that it doesn't bother me too much. The remote control is tiny and probably very easy to lose, but I had controls set for behind the steering wheel, so I haven't moved the remote from the glove box since I bought it.
Crutchfield did a nice, fast job of installing the 3500. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and the service and I'll probably buy another Pioneer from Crutchfield when I upgrade my sound system.
