While my fiance and I was looking in a store for a DVD player my fiance came across this Pioneer DEH-P400 and he wanted to check it out because he needed a car cd player to go with his car. He did check it out and he decided to buy it for his new car that he just bought not to long ago. It was not to hard to put in to the car but it took some work. I think that this Pioneer is a great cd player. We have had it now over a year and nothing has went wrong with it since we bought it. I do not know if this is the best car cd player out right now to be honest with you because I do not know to much about that stuff but I know to my fiance and I this Pioneer cd player is wonderful.
About the Pioneer DEH-P400
It has multi-cd control function along with multi color display.
It has a 3-band parametric equalizer.
It has selectable loudness and that is something I like because you can adjust the sound the way you want it to go and the way you want your sterio to sound. I do not really like loud music because the only thing it does for me is give me a headache so when I am in the car the music is not played really loud.
It also has dual preout and subwoofer out but to be honest with you I know nothing about that part of the cd player.
The last thing it has is a one bit d/a converter and a fm/am tuner.
I really do not know to much about these car cd player's but I know something about this kind because my fiance has had it in his car for about a year now and I look at it all the time because we are in his car most of the time when we go out. I can not say that you should but this Pioneer in your car to be honest with you because I do not know if this cd player can go in just any kind of vehicle so I am not going to tell you that this would be the best thing for your car. I know that it has been the best thing for our car. If you want to try it out I would recommend it to you to give it a try but I am not going to say this would be perfect for your vehicle.
I like this Pioneer DEH-P400 because it is a good quality cd player ( I think ) and nothing has went wrong with it for us. Other people will probably have a different opinion about this Pioneer than I do but that is okay because like I said before, this cd player might now work great in your vehicle like it has ours.
That is it for my opinion on the DEH-P400 Pioneer. If you buy it I hope you enjoy it as much as we have. It is a good cd player in my opinion and I have enjoyed listening to it day after day. The sound on this cd player is great and I have not heard any static or anything like that in it unless the static is coming from the radio station and this Pioneer was easy to learn how to use. We had no problems on learning how to use it or learning on how it works. I also do not know if this cd player will last forever so I am not going to say it will but like I said, we have had it for a year and nothing has went wrong with it.
