Tecnicolor Face
Pros
Technicolorful, LED Light, Alarm "EveryThing in One"
Cons
Too powerful for my speakers
Recommended it?
Yes
I have found why they call themselves "Pioneer". There products leave themselves etched in the Gold Rush. If it wasn't for my Clarion being stolen, I wouldn't have bought this one; but I am sure glad I did.
The Clarion I had before this one didn't come with a "DFS" alarm. The Pioneer has a build in alarm that triggers when the enemy opens either side of the doors. Within 5-30 secs. You program the time, a ear piercing sound will linger through the speakers and put your enemy in the spot-light. It came with the deck for no added charge so I was pleased.
The Clarion I had came with a detachable face but didn't have the "LED" light behind it. It makes sure the enemy knows I have something they don't want to MESS with.
The Clarion had some "Technicolors" too, which I find the most appealing about any deck. The Pioneer has some "Technicolors" too, though. If not better than the Clarion. Colors of blue, neon green, yellow, white. This truely is a "Technicolor" face!
The Clarion for $495.00 didn't come with a remote, the Pioneer Did. Which is a nice feature when outside the ride and you wanna pump the tunes for your boys! It's other features are....
~3-Band Parametric EQ
~Selectable Loudness
~Dual PreOut
~8fs DF 1-bit D/A Converter
~Multi-CD Control
~45WX4
~Mosfet Alarm
~Remote
~Am/FM Tuner, Time stamp
~Programable CD Names
~18 presets for AM & FM
Overall this Deck is top of the line for the Money invested! Hey if you don't want to waste money on an alarm which has no effect get the Pioneer DEH-P4000 it comes with an ALARM and probably has a better effect to keep the enemy out of bounds!
