The Bottom Line:
Great product! 99.9% Satisfaction!
Installed it in my 2005 Honda Accord. It improved my sound system significantly. I have two amplifiers (2 channel & 4 channel) hooked up to the pre-amp outputs and it is amazing how sweet the whole thing sounds. Some complained about how the face opened after you turn off the radio. This is easily fixed in the function setup when the radio is off. You might even find some extra features in there that you might need. I got the bluetooth adapter (CD-BTB200) and it works great. Once you get used to the navigation key browsing through your music folders is just great. and the USB port came straight from heaven, thumb drives, cellphones, ipods, small HDD, is great. But when it comes to mass storage devices things get interesting. My first thought was since it produces 500 mA it can power a small 2.5 hard drive straight out of the USB with out a problem. So i first tried it with something easy. a 250GB HD with a power inverter. (it is a big external) and it was great! moved down to a lap top hard drive, I got a 120 WD with a mini usb port as it's only port. It lack's power and the radio won't read it. Moved down to a 40 GB Hitachi with a Vantec 2.5 external enclosure and it worked for about 15 minutes, but I think the bass messed up the HDD. So I am assuming that the unit will read without a problem a small 4200 RPM 2.5 HDD without any assistance of a power supply, but watch the bumpy ride!
