The Bottom Line:
However all in all this deck is incredibly good and sounds great and as long as you do not have some really loud subs the screen will work just fine.
The pioneer DEH-P740MP cd and mp3 player works great. The sound quality is excellent, even at full blast thats usually a rarity for a car stereo. Also I find the Eq to be especially usefull. On this model you are given the ability to adjust low, mid, and high range frequencies and save them as your own custom settings, or choose from some of the programed ones like vocals, flat, or superbass. It also came with a non fading output for a sub which works wonders for me, because then i can use the eq and make it so my front and rear speakers get only mid, and high range frequencies and my sub only gets the low.
yet there is a small downside to this product. When i bought the player my main reason for doing so because of the display screen. Well unfortunately if u have lots of bass in your car the screen wobbles when the bass hits. i dont know how that happened to get past the engineers at Pioneer but it did.
The Mp3 capability works fine it takes a while to load between tracks and folders if you have a lot of songs on the cd . However I applaud Pioneer in making it simple to navigate thorugh the mp3 files and folders, the title screen comes in handy when searching through the mp3's.
Also this may seem miniscule to you but to me "the laziest person on earth hehe" I did not like the fast that to change a cd u have to lift the fold down face back up by hand (its not motorized). And thats all folks.
