The Bottom Line:
The COOLEST looking stereo on the Market!
I totally was amazed by this stereo from the first time I saw this stereo at a department store. The first thing that caught my eye was the way that the see-through disc player opened vertically which I find really cool. The tape player tray opens like a disc tray which is also neat. Although these features are very stylistic, I don't find this system as practical as a 3 disc player with a dual cassette. It takes away those added features and replaces them with a style all of its own, which I do feel makes up for it.
Like on every other pioneer stereo, the sound on this one is absolutely the best on the market. It goes up to about 3/4 of its power without distortion and is powerful enough to shake the walls in a large room. Surround sound speakers are an option on this unit if you want to hook this unit up as your sound system at home. It does only have 1 auxillary connection so you may want to invest in a reciever if you choose to plug you VCR, DVD player and TV into this unit. Another nice feature is the woofer that comes with this unit. It has an electric blue "Speedometer-style dial" that looks very much like the clocks on some of the new Chrysler 3M. It functions to give you the power output of your stereo which I find is cool.

It has a standard AM/FM radio with preset stations that can be dialed in on the remote control. Overall this stereo gives you all the features of the best stereos on the market, with a cool style all of its own.
