Pioneer KEH-1800 Review

Pros clean, great sound quality
Cons lacks a bit of power
Recommended it? Yes
I purchased the Pioneer KEH-1800 for my 1990 Dodge Daytona in the summer of 1999. I replaced my factory stereo with this receiver and I purchased it for $99.99 through Crutchfield. This receiver without a doubt is one of the best on the market for receivers under $150.00. It has 10 presets with fade, bass, trebel, and balance controls. There is also a tapedeck with auto-rewind. Another main feature is a button that will automatically bring the volumn to a bare minimum and back to the originally setting if pushed again. I found this to be extremely helpful when going through drive in's or thruway tolls. In addition, the receiver allows use of the radio while rewinding and fast forwarding of tapes. The tuner quality is sound due to Pioneer's great reputation for good products. This receiver delivers clean, crisp power that can fill any car with quality sound. The only negative aspect is that it does lack a bit of power but delivers enough sound and bass for pure enjoyment.
