Pros easy access to the single-loader, good sound, easy connection to receiver
Cons inputting titles is difficult,
Recommended it? Yes

That was the question someone asked me soon after I purchased this CD Jukebox. You see, I had CD holders stacked in my living room, holding more than 300 CDs in their cases. When my friend entered the house, that spot was cleared. I had chosen 280 "worthy" of a place in this Jukebox, and stored the... Read full review »

Pros single loader, great sound, and ease of use, not just a CD player
Cons some occasional jams and skips
Recommended it? Yes

Looking for a CD player, I wanted one that would hold more then 10. I recently researching the CD players, and here is one I think has a lot of bang for the buck.

The Pioneer PD-F1007 offers LED display, this will give you the disc number, the title to the artist and the track title. When... Read full review »

Pros Holds 300 cds, title display, random play
Cons occasional skip
Recommended it? Yes

When our first 200 disc cd player started skipping all the time and was in the shop and still was not fixed, my husband decided to buy me a new one. We decided we wanted a 300 disc since we had over 200 cds now. I am so glad we found this Pioneer. It is a 301 disc, you can out one in and have it... Read full review »

Pros Great sound
Cons Poor interface
Recommended it? Yes

But for the user interface, this is a great machine. How can you beat 301 CD's? The Pioneer PD-F1007 (and its progeny) provides a good choice for ultra super-duper multi CD playing, with just a couple glitches.

The Sound
How awesome does a CD sound when you send it out through a... Read full review »

Better than most Mega-Changers, but still has some flaws

Pros Good price, good quality, 2 line display
Cons No keyboard input, tightly spaced remote buttons
Recommended it? Yes

The Pioneer PD-F1007 was my second "Mega-Changer". I used to own one of the first 200 disc changers put out by Kenwood, but I sold it so I could get this changer. I haven't been disappointed.
For starters, the player seems well constructed. I have moved at least 4 times and the player has yet... Read full review »

How many does that hold?

Pros capacity, great value
Cons no keyboard title input
Recommended it? Yes

Let me start by saying that if you are the type that revels in the differences between a $1000 CD player and a $10000 CD player, this is not the changer for you. But if you are looking for a value-oriented product that really delivers in the convenience and features department, look no further... Read full review »

Awesome if you have a computer - here's how to set up

Pros Never get off your couch to change a cd
Cons Hokey interface (like all file-type players) makes it hard to manage and play cd's
Recommended it? Yes

The Pioneer PD-F1007 is a great way to organize and play CD's without ever having to get off the couch. It's pointless to have a remote for a single cd player, since you have to get up anyway each time you want to change the CD. But file-type CD players have their own bag of problems, the main one... Pros Easy to use, durable, relatively cheap, a joy to own and use
Cons the remote! that's about it!
Recommended it? Yes

I bought my beloved Pioneer PD-F1007 in the fall of '99 from the local branch of a large electronics store. At the time, it was listed as an "as-is" item that had apparently been returned or used as a floor model. It came without a box, but had the manual, remote, and everything else that was... Excellent CD-Jukebox

Pros Sound, 300 CD Capacity, Expansion
Cons Remote and User Interface
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the Pioneer because I got tired loading and unloading CDs into my CD-Player. Why not store ALL your cds in the player? Now, all my CDs are in the CD player, not on the shelf collecting dust. It's really fantastic to have all the CDs available in a few seconds on a remote.

Pros Excellent concept
Cons Frequent jams and repairs
Recommended it? No

I wanted one of these players for a long time and finally acquired a factory refurbished machine around Christmas time of '99. I unfortunately was unpacking from a move and did not get around to setting it up until the 90 day warranty had expired. I loaded about 100 discs and set it playing. A few... Read full review »
