The mere concept of storing away 101 CD jewel cases from our baby's prying hands was reason enough for my husband & I to purchase this home stereo component. We have great praise for the Pioneer family of components.
The 958 has a classic black brushed-steel chassis, with domed access door to minimize depth dimension. Its funky 101-disc capacity appearance in no way appears gargantuan while enmeshed with our pre-existing components.
The features we found attractive include:
Remote control, 101 disc capacity, memory hold and back-up, random play, several custom features, disc scan, single loader, CD Text and Title-enabling... it has many more listed in the instruction booklet, but these are the most common features we wanted. Comprehensive use may take a bit of practice, but the remote also has some very easy-to-use commands pre-programmed.
