I love this TV. After returning a Samsung Plasma, I could not be happier. I also own the #one rated Panasonic 40" 600U, and I must say I think this one is slightly better. The colors on the Pioneer are better than on the Panasonic which has clay faces on the people. The Panasonic still has a little bit better black level, but not enough to matter.
I highly recommend this TV. I debated between this one and the 1140. They picture quality was the same on both, so I went with the less expensive. The 1140 has network capability, but I am using the DirecTV HD-DVR, which also is networked to my home computers, so the network on the Pioneer was not necessary.
