Inno2 battery: A giant step backwards

byksgatl Dec 17, 2007

Pros Attractive and easy to use
Cons Battery isn't worth spit
Recommended it? No

The Inno2 is a nice, compact unit, with satisfactory ergonomics, and fairly good reception. BUT the rechargeable battery is woefully inadequate. Direct XM listening at minimal volume, yields 4 - 5 hours before the unit shuts down, despite minimal scrolling and minimal display. Considering my old i... Read full review »

Inno is stylish, but lacks in performance

bynovadan Jun 27, 2006

Pros MP3 downloading, song recording, color screen, sleek design, light-weight, bookmarking...
Cons Poor reception, no Mac software, confusing buttons, sticky power button
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the Inno when my XM MiFi personal receiver stopped working with expectations that this new device would afford both better reception as a handheld, and and easier user-interface. I have been using the device for about a month now, and have found some improvements over the previous MiFi, as... Read full review »

Pros Great reception, great sound Can record lot's of music from xm.
Cons Fm transmitter deactivated unless you buy a car kit.

My favorite xm radio up to this point,
I bought a refurbished for under $135.00, much better reception than the Tao xm2go.
I use mostly on my atv!

6 month review

Pros Decent reception outdoors if you don?t cover it. Easy to use.
Cons Many of the recordings stop before the songs end.
Recommended it? No

It died. One day it would not charge or even work in the cradle.

All the songs that I had recorded are gone.

It cannot be repaired. My only option is to return it to Pioneer and they will send me a refurbished model.

I am not a happy camper.

Pros Holds both MP3s and stored satellite radio broadcasts
Cons FM transmitter deactivated unless you buy a car kit. Reception variable. (need accessory...
Recommended it? No

This product was intentionally downgraded, so that the FM transmitter will only work if you buy the car kit. Now you can't take it to your office and use with your boombox, etc. Perhaps they think they will sell more hardware this way.

However, in the days of advancing electronics we... Read full review »

Good But Not Great

Pros Offers a wide variety of music listening in one device
Cons Earphones, case, largeish size, annoying commercials that I though XM didn't...
Recommended it? No

I got my Inno for Christmas and have been using it for about 6 months now when I walk. I like it but I don't love it. FYI - XM is not commercial free.
The Bad:
To change the radio station you have to open up one side of the leather case and risk dropping the unit. The earbuds it came with... Read full review »
