Not bad at all

inexpensive, nice sound, multiple room/speaker settings.
Cons
NOT 1000 watts. Read the fine print. It is actually 100 watts per channel.

I got this system for Christmas and, yes, it does have one way speakers with connected wire, but I find the sound I get from this system is more than adequate. For the money, it is not a bad buy. At first I did notice a bit of distortion, however, it was because this system has so many settings and it was not properly adjusted!
There are separate volume settings for each speaker and settings for speaker distance along with many other modes/tweaks. After playing with the some of the settings I noticed the distortion disappeared and the sound was fine at all levels.
I upgraded my front speakers to 100 watt, 2-way pioneers that got excellent reviews at Circuit City, and I only paid 30.00 for the pair. The reviews lived up to expectations and the system really sounds great. Plan on upgrading my center channel speaker and eventually the surrounds, but they SYSTEM itself is great, even with the speakers it comes with, and is more than adequate for the average buyer looking to get surround sound on a budget.
