The Bottom Line:
Not a "SAFE" system to use while driving!
I just bought this 3 days ago. Sounds easy to use... but already problems are popping up since day 1 that the system is not intuitive to use unless restarting certain systems in navigation or using the audio. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
DON'T GET FOOLED BY - The look is sleek with the idea of a touch screen.- Voice Recognition for phone and audio source (AM/FM) while driving.
Make sure the bluetooth is compatible to your mobile phone.
The startup / synching takes a while before you can use your "audio" source. I'm a tactile person and with buttons on "old school" systems I can just push buttons... with a touch screen, this can be very DANGEROUS while driving when changing channels for audio sources. Navigation doesn't always work and when switching between audio sources / navigation this confuses the system and screws it up. i.e. the street map zooms out to a 'world' map view!
Setting Volume controls is so confusing whether it's your 1) audio source 2) navigation voice 3) phone voice... some are loud and some are too soft.
I've tried to troubleshoot with reading the manuals, but nothing gives me a solution!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS SYSTEM until you try it out.... once you try it... you'll never BUY it!
