I have owned the Pioneer AVIC 1 for about 11 months. From the beginning the maps were not up to date - they ship with two year out of date maps. Two weeks ago the unit's buttons stopped working but the touch screen still worked. A week ago the screen went blank but from memory I could still hit the buttons. Today the unit went dead completely. It's not a quality product.
