The Bottom Line:
quite possibly the best budget in dash reciever out in stores and online. It's affordable and has features of a high end head unit
got this at circuit city for about 120 from the "after holidays savings". I got the 3rd to last box and there was a huge line waiting to buy these, I was the lucky one. Well i installed the unit and it is very pretty. The blue illuminate shines very bright. The green lit buttons aren't very flashy but hey, the only times you'll be looking at the head unit is when you parked, lounging, or your at a red light. The head unit is very powerful. In fact, it made my amp auto shut off, lol. I had to reset teh gains and this radio booms. Face plate is a bit tricky to remove at first but you'll get the hang of it.
One thing though is that the the faceplate still has room behind it, so when you push a button, it will move back about 1-2 millimeters. But no biggy, I use the remote more than the faceplate.The reaction time for the remote is 1/4th of a second and can get a bit tedious when switching songs.
The equilizer is what this head unit excells in. Has Flat, Powerful, Super Bass, a Vocal, and custom. all the equilizers has great sound and made my factory head unit look like a cassette deck.
all in all, i am very happy.
PS, oh yeah, forgot to mention it is CD-r and CD-rw compatible with MP3 format. Songs are crisp to the ear.
