What a bargin ! Sound.Vision.Soul

Pros Great Quality, Easy to Use, fantastic buy !
Cons NONE
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Fantastic product ! Looks great, excellent recording quality, and simple to use.
We have all had our share of vcr's by now. I remember being a child watching tv and then being amazed that you could acutally record a tv show, and then play it back.

Then years later here we are in dvd land, and dvd recorders. If anyone has owned and used both a vcr and a dvd player. The experience is so much more enjoyable that there is just no comparision. With on screen menu's and easy navigation the future is here !

And its much the same with the Pioneer DVR-320-S. To start things off, I cannot think of anything negative about this dvd recorder. I have been totally satisfied with it in every way.

If you are new to dvd recorders or affraid of new technology, you have nothing to worry about here. A person with no clue can work this dvd recorder with ease, and there is really no learning curve. Pioneer has made a great product that is simple to use.

I still remember times where my family or friends would call me up and say, Hey, im not going to be home could you figure out how to program my vcr to record while im away ?" I mention this because Pioneer has even figured out how to make this simple with Easy Timer Recording. Put in a disc, hit a few buttons and you are done, its that easy.

The recording quality is fantastic, and with several different record modes the user can decide what overall quality they want the dvd to be in. Fine is the highest and is perfect allowing only 1 hour of recording, SP is almost the same and allows for 2 hours, all the way to EP Mode which allows for 6 hours of recording with good picture quality.

The Pioneer DVR-320S looks fantastic, very modern and eye catching. The remote control is equally as cool looking, easy to use and also can be programmed to control your tv as well. And like most remote controls this one takes AA batteries and the batteries last a long time.

The Pioneer DVD-320S records onto DVD-R disc. I have found this to be a great setup. At present time the formats are DVD+R and DVD-R. I have had no experience with DVD+R but the DVD-R has been great. No problems at all finding and buying the DVD-R's and no problems at all playing them back.

The 320-S plays the following media: DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, Audio CD, Video CD, CD-R, CD-RW, Fujicolor CD, Super VCD, and Windows Media Audio.

The 320-S also comes with all the necessary rear panel connections. VHF/UHF IN/OUT, Component Video Out, 2 Sets of RCA outputs (audio, video), 2 sets of S-Video outputs, 2 Sets of RCA Inputs (audio, video), 2 sets of S-video inputs, and an optical digital output.

Again, this dvd recorder is excellent and worth every penny. Creating the dvd menus for your dvd upon finalization is fun and easy.

Hats off to Pioneer, wonderful dvd recorder here.
