Nice pictures, love the glossy black look of this unit. HDMI and IEEE outputs!!

$1100 for a DVD player is way to expensive for an old technology.

This is a fantastic DVD player, but in the end, it's JUST a DVD player. HDMI output, IEEE output, and a solid build make this a top of the live player. I don't think it's worth $1100 however. Samsung has a DVD player that has HDMI out for $200. With the new format DVDs coming soon, and this units price, I would skip this purchase and what until then. As a player, It's a great dvd player, and if you really want a one, this is the player to get.
