Pioneer Airwave XM2GO Satellite Radio Receiver

I'd been waiting for the XM web site to start offering the Pioneer on the cheap to DirecTV subscribers, Christmas came early last week, $99 even for the stylish Airware. Love it! Had it 3 days, use it when I walk the dogs, use it in the car, use it when mowing the lawn, use it whenever. Reception has been excellent, some inexplicable interruptions (in the car in open areas) but works 99.9% of the time. Not big on underpasses although it does seem to work in them sometimes. Reception when out in the open (walking) is excellent, your body doesn't seem to hide the signal no matter which direction you walk in. I've used the Airware in both our cars, without the car antenna installed, located it on the dashboard, held in place by one of those non-sticky gripper pads, works great. I was pleasantly surprised how far it worked into the house without the home antenna installed. Buy one, you won't be disappointed, unless you live in a closet, in the middle of a dense forest. I'll be taking it on a trip to CA shortly....can you get XM on a plane???
